Introduction:
Acupuncture is a field of traditional Chinese medicine and, according to the new WHO terminology, a complementary treatment. Acupuncture treatment consists of a diagnosis and the insertion of needles in body points, also known as "Acupuncture Points" or "Acupoints”. These points are mainly distributed on lines called "Chinese meridians" and "channels" for different therapeutic effects as appropriate.


Main objective:
The main objective is that the participants are able to understand how Acupuncture works.

2. History of Chinese Medicine;
3. Principles of Chinese Medicine;
4. Main Meridians;
5. Possible Applications in Rehabilitation Nursing.
